There is not a day that goes by where I don’t see at least 50 trade proposals. I’ve heard every excuse in the book about why said owner should not make a trade. The one that frustrates me the most is – “but his team gets better”.
I’m going to be blunt about this, because I could stream a 2,000 word rant about how ridiculous I think this is.
The only thing that matters is if YOUR team improves when executing a trade, even if it is already a strength of your team. Everything else is irrelevant.
Not making a trade that vastly improves your team because it also makes another team stronger, is the absolute worst reason ever to not make a trade.
Trading is supposed to be beneficial for both sides, not just one party.
