Social Media has so much information and so many good Twitter questions are being put out there and then the advice is missed and lost forever in the Twittersphere. The goal of this weekly column will be to point out key Tweets each week with our UTH staff have answered so you can dive into everyday strategy questions the UTH Staff sees on Twitter.

@TimNFL there comes a time in a startup when it is no longer BPA it is FPA- favorite player available.

A great piece of advice here and not many people take to heart when they are working on a challenging start-up. In a recent Google Chat with the UTH crew both Katie (@FF_Skyler399) and Tim (@thirddowntheory) mentioned they were both in start-up drafts with a number of UTH minded drafters. Their target players were gone a lot earlier than normal and they found themselves going to the idea of their Favorite Players Available (FPA) versus Best Players Available. Both Katie and Tim were forced to realize they needed to reach for players they wanted in order to build teams their way. Remember it is not just about a philosophy, but it is about getting your guys!

.@Ty_In_StL @DynastyFrank @HBombIDP @RavageFF @TrashTalkFF Jordy scores X+Y PPG, Coop scores X PPG in ’15. Solve for Y to validate win now

I love looking for great debates like this one on Twitter. It challenges me to take a side and to defend my argument. To a UTH person the idea of Jordy Nelson to Amari Cooper isn’t close. We all know the potential points over the next 5 years favors Amari Cooper heavily and chances are Jordy Nelson will be out of the league or close to it. After 5 years Amari Cooper will only be 26 years old and in the prime of his career (don’t forget to check out Chad Parsons’ review of NFL Dynasty Age Decline Unlocked). This same person would have navigated you to take Jordy Nelson over Mike Evans, Sammy Watkins, and Odell Beckham Jr. just a year ago.
Do I expect everyone to completely agree with me, or the UTH way, 100% of the time? No! Ask my wife, she agrees with me less than 50% of the time and because I’m usually wrong. But with dynasty fantasy football the UTH way will build your roster’s depth long-term and will allow you the flexibility to be a true DYNASTY for years.

Is it TOO early to start hyping up this 2016 rookie WR class? — SEA Nate (@AnOutragedJew) June 29, 2015
Umm, maybe just a little. But the enthusiasm is there and the idea of starting to peak ahead is not a bad idea. Something as simple as going to the UTH Devy Rankings and picking 1 or 2 names you haven’t heard of and doing a bit of research will get you further ahead than everyone else in your leagues. If you have been to the UTH Devy rankings before you will notice they have been updated to break up the players by draft eligibility year.
